The blade of the Spyderco Resilience Lightweight knife is made of easy-to-sharpen 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a hardness of 57-59 HRC. Thanks to the admixtures of silicon, chromium and molybdenum, this steel is extremely strong and wear-resistant and directly comparable to the famous AUS-8 steel. In order to sharpen the Resilience Lightweight knife, it is advisable to use proven pocket sharpeners.

ADrop Point profile head with a cutting edge brought out with a Full Flat Grind, a smooth blade and handle facings made of FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) – or fiberglass reinforced nylon – are just some of the attributes of the Spyderco knife. The sturdy handle was reinforced with two steel plates for even greater stability and further bolstered with torx screws. The washers are made of phosphorized bronze. They guarantee smooth opening and closing of the knife and the whole construction is stable, solid and durable.

Spyderco Resilience Lightweight knife has a well-known and proven Liner Lock. In addition, on the edge of the blade there is a special ramp, which is a notched section of the design used to rest the finger for even more efficient operation of the knife. The knife also features the manufacturer’s patented SpyderHole – an enlarged opening for faster and more comfortable opening of the blade. In addition, there is a functional hourglass clip adjustable in four planes – the so-called 4-way clip positions. In the lower part of the handle you will also find a lanyard hole used, for example, for pulling a bow.
