The Byrd Harrier 2 knife is a good solution for everyday gear. It will successfully fill the role of a basic tool, while being lightweight and not taking up much space. The blade of the knife is made of easy-to-sharpen 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a hardness of 57-62 HRC. Thanks to the admixtures of silicon, chromium and molybdenum, this steel is extremely strong and resistant to wear and tear and directly comparable to the famous AUS-8 steel. In order to sharpen the knife properly, it is advisable to use reputable knife sharpeners.

It has Drop Point profile head with cutting edge finished in Full Flat Grind. The handles are made of G10 polymer proven in harsh conditions. Blade with surely stay open after drawing out thanks to the Back Lock. A notch is placed on the lock release button to reduce the chances of accidentally folding the knife. In addition, the edge of the blade has oval texture that serves to support the finger for even more efficient operation of the knife.

The blade design with a proprietary comet-shaped hole – SpyderHole, which allows smooth opening and closing of the knife. This design of the knife allows for seamless operation with both right and left hand. What is emphasized by the included functional hourglass clip adjustable for each side – left, right and position – up, down. In the foot of the knife you will also find a hole for pulling a lanyard, string or any other use found by the user.
