Made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the blade provides ease of sharpening and corrosion resistance comparable to Japanese AUS-8 steel. With a chromium content of 13.0% and carbon content of 0.8%, it has excellent corrosion resistance, while the presence of silicon and molybdenum increases its strength and wear resistance. The 8Cr13MoV steel features a hardness in the 57-59 HRC range.

The Drop Point blade, with a thickness of 3.1 mm, provides excellent cutting geometry. Its Full Flat Grind finish with a matte black oxide coating extends along the entire length of the blade. The enlarged 14mm SpyderHole opening allows the blade to be quickly extended, even with tactical gloves. In addition, the notched ridge provides traction for the thumb and strengthens the grip.

Construction with reinforced stainless steel liners and FRN liners allows the knife to achieve considerable strength while maintaining a lightweight design. The Liner-Lock mechanism, designed by Michael Walker, provides secure blade protection, supported by a notch on the inside of the liner. Phosphorized bronze liners contribute to the smooth opening and closing of the blade.

Bi-Directional Texturing FRN liners offer superior ergonomics. Made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon, they provide durability and reliability. A universal clip with four mounting options allows for customization, and a cord hole in the back of the handle allows for additional security.
