The Smith & Wesson SWSA12 Folding Knife – Black features a 3.25" 8Cr13MoV black drop point blade with a spring assisted mechanism. 8Cr13MoV is a high-quality stainless steel similar in properties to AUS-8. This steel exhibits extreme toughness and excellent edge retaining capabilities.
The handles are made from textured aluminium and stainless steel liners. The blade springs open with a slight push of the dual thumb studs. The thumb studs are ambidextrous, but there is only one set of holes drilled for the tip-down deep carry pocket clip, so it cannot be reversed. The SWSA12 is a great value for a fast opening assisted knife from Smith & Wesson.
