Holosun Micro Red Dot HE509-RD Solar Powered compact pistol collimator that uses Solar Failsafe solar panel power system. Besides, it has a Shake Awake battery saving system and ACSS Vulcan target reticle. Thanks to its dimensions, enclosed design and light weight, it will work well as a collimator for sport and combat shooting.

The HE509-RD uses a horizontal button layout, which will facilitate the activation of Lock Mode. When activated, it disables the operation of the buttons, preventing accidental changes to the sight settings. The body of the Micro Red Dot HE509-RD collimator is made of milled 7075 T6 aluminum. Thanks to being made from a single piece, the strength remains high and the weight correspondingly low.

The unit is equipped with a side-sliding tray that allows easy replacement of the dedicated CR1632 collimator battery under field conditions, without removing it from the weapon. Mounting of the collimator on the gun is done with a steel plate, compliant with the 507C mounting standard. In order to protect the glass lens, the manufacturer used a multi-layer anti-reflective coating, with a high VLT coefficient.

A key feature of the HE509 collimator is its ACSS Vulcan aiming point. Instead of the traditional red dot, the system uses a chevron (inverted V) mark, allowing the target to be aimed with its tip. The chevron is supported by a large circle with an option to turn it off, which comes in handy when moving between targets.
