The plain version of our popular Pirscher Gear Ultralight Hoodie Shirt with Tanatex® insect protection is optimally designed for all the demands of summer hunting: The quick-drying functional shirt protects against heat and sunlight. Additionally, it keeps annoying bloodsuckers at bay and inhibits body odor. The anatomically shaped hood and the integrated camouflage mask provide camouflage during stalking and when waiting in an open stand. At the same time, the face is protected from mosquitoes. When the mask is not needed, it can be conveniently hidden in the hood.
Integrated Tick and Insect Protection
As hunters, we are particularly exposed to the risk of disease transmission from insect bites. That’s why we integrated Tanatex® insect protection; an insect-proof treatment based on permethrin. The odorless insect repellent repels mosquitoes and ticks for a long time and is effective for up to 40 washes.
Protection Against Odor Formation
Functional clothing can quickly develop unpleasant odors when sweating. However, you want to avoid odors while hunting. In the Pirscher Gear Ultralight Tanatex Hoodie Shirt, the Silvadur Freshness Technology (skin-friendly, OEKO-TEX certified) actively prevents the formation of odors. The antimicrobial treatment based on silver ions prevents microorganisms from multiplying in the fabric, so no odors arise.
Quiet, High-Tech Fabric
The flexible high-performance polyester ensures that heat and moisture escape extremely quickly with its smooth, air-permeable waffle grid fabric structure. This creates an evaporative effect that feels pleasantly cooling on the skin.

The athletic cut and 4-way stretch material guarantee optimal freedom of movement. Elastic, flatlock seams prevent pressure and chafing and ensure excellent comfort during hunting.
The extra-long sleeves with the practical thumb loops can be used to camouflage hands and protect them from mosquitoes. They also improve the fit of the hunting hoodie during movement.
The chest zipper of the Pirscher Gear Ultralight Hoodie Shirt can be opened deep to the chest. It makes it easier to put on and take off and provides even more ventilation in extreme heat.
The zippered chest pocket can securely store smaller hunting gear, such as a call or wind checker.

Please note: Permethrin is safe for humans and dogs – like a spot-on treatment against ticks & fleas – (Source: World Health Organization (WHO) and the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment). However, Permethrin can be harmful to cats, so avoid contact with your pet cat. The insect repellent effectively repels mosquitoes and ticks and significantly reduces the incidence of insect bites, but cannot guarantee 100% protection, similar to mosquito sprays.
