Introducing the MDT ESS System Savage SA Left-Handed Chassis. A highly engineered platform designed to provide exceptional ergonomics, modularity, and reliability for left-handed shooters. Building upon the groundbreaking features of the original ESS chassis, this model incorporates the popular M-LOK forend, ambidextrous magazine latch, and the versatile XTN buttstock interface-each engineered to promote a natural and comfortable shooting stance. Constructed from durable, hard anodised 6061 aluminium with a Cerakote finish, it offers both strength and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for demanding environments.

From the outset, the focus was on creating the most ergonomic chassis possible. During development, the design was refined by carving prototypes into foam to perfect the shape and ensure optimal comfort in handling and operation. The octagonal forend provides a secure grip, while the integrated polymer foregrip allows for a relaxed, supported hold-even when touching a hot barrel. The wide ergonomic thumb shelf integrated into the XTN interface enables a stable, natural hand position, facilitating effortless cycling of the bolt, magazine changes, and trigger pulls-minimising fatigue during long shooting sessions. Every detail has been carefully considered to enhance comfort and control.

Customisability is a key strength of this chassis. The enclosed M-LOK forend is available in four styles-including a no-rail version, carbon fibre, full rail, and partial rail options-allowing users to tailor their setup to specific accessories and preferences. The chassis is compatible with AICS magazines and works seamlessly with MDT Pistol Grips, AR-15 style grips, and vertical grips. The included MDT SRS-X Buttstock is highly adjustable, supporting fine-tuning of cheek height, can’t, buttpad positioning, and length of pull, with options to add weights such as the MDT Bag Rider and Buttstock Weight for optimal balance. Its features include QD sling mounts, an integrated barricade stop, and compatibility with a wide range of rifles, including Remington 700, Savage, Tikka T3/T3X, and Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard models. Overall, this chassis delivers a premium, customisable platform designed for precision, comfort, and durability in any shooting scenario.
