Introducing the MDT ESS System Remington 700 LA Right-Handed Chassis. A meticulously designed platform focused on exceptional ergonomics and extensive customization. From its inception, the ESS was sculpted with user comfort in mind, even utilizing physical foam models to refine its feel and natural handling. This dedication to ergonomics is evident in features like the octagonal forend, the angled polymer foregrip, and the wide ergonomic thumb rest, all contributing to a comfortable and intuitive shooting experience. The integration of features that have become standard in subsequent MDT chassis, such as the M-LOK forend, ambidextrous magazine latch, and the XTN buttstock interface, highlights the ESS’s foundational role in pushing the boundaries of chassis design.

Beyond its ergonomic prowess, the MDT ESS Chassis System offers a high degree of modularity, allowing shooters to tailor their rifle to specific needs and preferences. The enclosed M-LOK forend is not only functional for accessory attachment but also comes with four different style options, including carbon fiber and rail variants, providing choices for weight and utility. While the chassis includes the comfortable MDT Pistol Grip – Elite and the MDT SRS-X Buttstock, these are readily interchangeable. The grip compatibility extends to most AR-15 style grips, and the XTN buttstock interface allows for seamless swapping with other XTN stocks or adaptation to different interfaces using MDT’s own adapters, ensuring long-term adaptability.

Constructed from hard anodized 6061 aluminum with a durable Cerakote finish, the MDT ESS Chassis System is built to withstand rigorous use. Weighing in at approximately 4.5 lbs (depending on the chosen buttstock and forend), it offers a balanced blend of durability and manageable weight. With a length of 35 inches when equipped with the included buttstock and a Length of Pull (LOP) adjustable from 13.4" to 14.4", it accommodates a range of shooter sizes and preferences. The chassis is also designed for broad compatibility, fitting various popular rifle actions like the Remington 700, Savage, Tikka T3/T3X, and Howa 1500/Weatherby Vanguard, and accepting AICS pattern magazines, making it a versatile choice for a wide array of shooting disciplines.
