Additionally, the recoil lug mortise and trigger area are designed with aftermarket compatibility in mind, allowing users to easily install popular upgrades to further tailor their rifle.

The fully adjustable stock is a key component, enabling shooters to fine-tune the length of pull and cheek height for a perfect and comfortable fit, which is essential for consistent shooting form. The chassis ships with an MDT pistol grip, strategically placed for optimal trigger access, but its compatibility with standard AR-style grips (with minor modifications for beavertail styles) offers further ergonomic personalisation. For enhanced comfort and stability, the forend features a polymer grip at the point of balance and a wider, octagonal profile that provides a solid rest on flat surfaces. Shooters who prefer an open grip will appreciate the integrated thumb shelves on both sides of the chassis, while the serrated barricade stop in front of the magazine offers flexible bracing options when shooting from various positions.

Constructed from durable aircraft-grade aluminium and finished with a protective H-series Cerakote, the MDT ESS chassis is built to withstand demanding use. The cheek-piece, fore-grip, and butt-pad are made from composites, offering a balance of durability and comfort. Weighing approximately 4.5 lbs and measuring 35 inches in length, this right-handed chassis provides a solid and substantial feel to the rifle.
