An ultra-lightweight, classic Douro Hunter’s knife with a secure blade lock, made by the Portuguese company MAM. Lightweight and compact, it is an excellent choice for those who appreciate tradition, simplicity and functionality.

The blade is made of two types of German stainless steel – AISI 420 and VG-10. The surface is protected by a protective coating of titanium oxide, which further increases its resistance to corrosion and scratching. The smooth blade with a Bowie profile, was derived with a full flat grind, which, combined with the slight thickness of the blade, provides above-average cutting properties. Opening is done by means of a notch in the wedge.

The blade is protected from accidental closing by a patented locking mechanism at the handle. Being made of steel and hardened to the same hardness as the head, it is characterized by exceptional durability, guaranteeing safe operation. The knife emits a characteristic click when opening, which informs the user that the lock is working properly.

The distinctive handle is made of a single piece of hard beech wood, which provides an aesthetic appearance. Thanks to the impregnation process, the handle is resistant to moisture, and to fresh and salt water. The ergonomic profile of the full-length translates into comfortable operation even when used with tactical gloves.
