The Mini version of the Iridium folding knife from Kershaw features compact dimensions. Like the basic variant, the Iridium is distinguished by its modern design, angular edges, but most importantly by the use of solid materials like tool steel and aluminum. What distinguishes the Mini are dimensions much better suited for EDC, also due to the deep-seated clip.

The Reverse Tanto profile blade uses D2 carbon steel with high HRC hardness on the Rockwell scale. The surface of the blade was protected from the potential negative effects of corrosion. Just above the double-sided thumb stud used for opening, the manufacturer used transverse notches to support the thumb or index finger while working with the tool. KVT bearings are responsible for the smooth extension of the blade.

The handle, on the other hand, is made of 6061-T6 aluminum with a contoured undercut under the locking mechanism to properly grip the knife. The locking mechanism uses DuraLock, which is a proprietary variant of Crossbar Lock, which is equivalent to Axis Lock. In the foot of the Mini Iridium knife is incorporated a hole for interlacing a paracord or other similar cord, and next to it is a deep-carry clip on two screws.

If necessary, the clip can be flipped to the other side, so that also left-handed people can comfortably use the tool. The Reverse Tanto head is distinguished from others by a very pronounced pointed tip. Protection of the blade surface for the knife in black falls on the coating in the form of anodization.
