Folding knife Folder EDC Frame Lock 8Cr13MoV Boilermaker Kershaw 3475

Kershaw Boilermaker 3475 is a durable EDC folder, created as a result of the cooperation of the American company Kershaw with Georg Les from Arizon Custom Knives. It is a handy tool that is convenient to carry and is distinguished by its original design and finish.

Model Boilermaker 3475 was produced in industrial style, thanks to which it will certainly be eye-catching. Its solid construction is made entirely of stainless steel, which, combined with the original style, makes it an ideal tool for everyday use for people expecting not only functionality, but also an interesting appearance from the knife.

The knife has a monolithic frame lock type to protect the user against accidental folding of the blade. It is considered to be one of the most durable locking mechanisms. In addition, the lock can be operated with one hand, which significantly increases the convenience of use. The highly mounted clip allows you to conveniently carry the knife in your trouser pocket.

Kershaw Boilermaker 3475 has contoured stainless steel facings covered with a brown PVD protective coating with a Stone Washed finish. The grip with its open structure with characteristic cross cutters resembles an industrial design. An additional, larger cutout on the front of the grip reveals the Kershaw logo laser etched.

85 mm long blade is made of the popular 8Cr13MoV steel hardened to 57-59 HRC. This Chinese steel has gained its popularity due to its high corrosion resistance and hardenability comparable to AUS6 steel. The 8Cr13MoV steel blade keeps its sharpness very well and is easy to sharpen, for which the pocket money is enough whetstone, therefore it is perfect for everyday use.

A wide blade with a usable drop-point profile is effectively finished in the BlackWash style (black oxidation), which effectively masks any scratches or abrasions of the blade caused during use. Good cutting and penetrating properties achieved with a very aggressive point, a concave cut and a cutting edge with a gentle curvature.

The blade in the knife unfolds quickly and conveniently using a flipper with the Speed Safe opening mechanism. When you press the flipper, the mechanism sets in motion an internal spring that dynamically unfolds the blade, making the knife almost immediately ready for use. Such a solution allows the knife to be used with one hand and is friendly to both right and left-handed users.
