Meeting high-precision requirements, the MAL38 maintains a "POI1MOA" accuracy even when paired with high-calibre rifles. Weighing over 20% less than comparable products and more compact than previous models, the MAL38 delivers high-performance imaging with its 384×288 resolution detector and 12um pixel size. The optical system provides a distortion-free image, even when used with a 10x daytime scope, while the advanced algorithms enhance image quality by adjusting to different environments such as forests, plains, and cities.

The MAL38’s design includes versatile, removable buttons that can be placed anywhere on the rifle for ease of use, even when the user’s focus is on the target. The remote control, equipped with an ultra-low power consumption solution, attaches magnetically for automatic charging. Additionally, the Mate series includes a power bank accessory, extending the device’s battery life by approximately seven hours.
