Downwind Caper hunting knife from Gerber was designed to perform precise field work. The large finger shaft placed in the blade and the ribbing on the spine of the blade make it easier to perform precise works on hunting and living in the forest wilderness.

Downwind Caper has a blade 1.7 mm thick made of 7Cr stainless steel, which can be easily sharpened using pocket sharpener. The flat grinding of the blade ensures deep and smooth cuts, which is extremely important in the skinning process.

Downwind Caper is equipped with cladding made of high quality G-10 material at the end with a hole for attaching the line. On the upper part of the handle there is a notch, which provides increased grip under the finger.

The hunting knife is delivered with a waxed canvas sheath with a 50 mm wide belt attachment.
