Gas mask designed to protect the face and respiratory tract from NBC hazards. It is equipped with a wide panoramic visor and EN 148-1 side threads, which allow for the installation of NATO standard filters. Using them, will allow the wearer to isolate himself from airborne hazards at the location.

The OM-2020 mask has two holes for mounting filter canisters, with 40 mm threads compliant with the NATO STANAG 4155 / EN148-1 standard, allowing one filter canister to be screwed on the selected side and the opposite hole to be sealed, so that the weapon can be operated while being right- and left-handed. It is also possible to mount two filter canisters to increase performance and extend protection time.

The facepiece of the mask is made of bromobutyl rubber, or vulcanized polyisobutylene. It has maximum against TSP (Toxic Industrial Chemicals) and BST (Combat Poisonous Chemicals). Visibility is provided by a panoramic visor, made of polycarbonate. It is resistant to scratches, chemical stains and splashes of solids.

The mask’s degree of flexibility makes it easy to pull on, fits well and works for breathing, so no stale air collects inside. The highly efficient phonic chamber allows free conversation without voice distortion of at least 95%. The mask is certified for Class III protection according to the European standard EN 136: 1998.

To fix the mask on the head, there are adjustable straps consisting of 6 straps with buckles and a mesh panel. They allow you to stretch the mask vertically and on the sides, as needed, and take care of its proper fit. Thanks to the large adjustment possibilities, the mask has a universal size. It should suit all sizes and shapes of adult faces, except for extremely small ones.

The OM-2020 mask was developed for compatibility with tactical equipment such as ballistic helmets and firearms collimators. It makes a good addition to a set of military equipment, a means of protection in a work environment, or a precaution in the event of a disaster.
