Fenix ​​PD40R V2.0 is a compact flashlight with impressive properties. It generates a maximum luminous flux of 3000 lumens and allows a range of 405 meters. It has 5 operating modes, and due to the fact that it is made of durable materials, it is resistant to mechanical damage and unfavorable weather conditions.

It has high protection class IP68, which means that it is resistant to immersion in water at a depth of 2 m for 30 minutes, as well as to dust, dirt and falls. Perfect as a tourist flashlight, for hunters, and also as a tactical lighting.

The structure is based on anodized A6061-T6 aviation aluminum, which is characterized by high strength and low weight. The grip has a knurled surface to improve grip. The elements of the head have been raised, creating a crown protecting the optical system, protecting the glass in the event of a fall. Mounting on a belt or a backpack allows removable steel clip.

The light source in the Fenix ​​PD40R V2.0 model is the LUMINUS SST70 LED diode. The diode generates a white light color that reduces eye strain. The glass used in this model is anti-reflective with high light transmission. A smooth reflector was also used.

To turn on and off or change the flashlight mode, use the rotary switch, the mechanism of which works very smoothly, is instinctive and easy to use.

Power is supplied via 21700 type cell with a capacity of 5000 mAh. The LED indicator is responsible for controlling the battery charge level. The USB-C port is used for charging, thanks to which the charger can be charged in less than 3.5 hours. The charging socket is protected against moisture, dust and water with a rubber plug.
