The Benchmade 9570BK-1 Mini Claymore is a small OTS automatic knife whose reliable design is inspired by one of the most famous directional mines. It is a new smaller version, its big brother Benchmade Claymore. The knife uses CPM-D2 premium steel with impressive sharpness, lightweight Grivory laminate liners and an armored locking mechanism that sets a new standard for durability. The result is a lightweight and reliable EDC knife for those looking for uncompromising solutions.

The blade is made of durable CPM-D2 steel hardened to 60-62 HRC. CPM-D2 is a powdered variant of air-hardened D2 steel, but with much higher retention and a modified carbide microstructure, which makes the blade very wear-resistant, impressively long in sharpness and at the same time quite easy to sharpen. However, it is worth remembering to properly maintain the knife, so that the knife will serve reliably for many years.

The tanto blade, is coated with Cobalt Black coating, which protects against corrosion, minor scratches and emphasizes the tactical character of the knife. The blade has a strong hilt and a flat grind, which guarantees a smooth cut. The head at its widest point is 2.5 mm thick.
