Comtac III Hearing Defender Headset by 3M/Peltor are state of the art hearing protection. The user can clearly hear while wearing the headset which amplifies ambient noises and voices by 18db. These headsets allow uninterrupted communications with others, but electronics will instantly suppress harmful impact noises when detected. Unit will run for 500+ hours use with (2) AAA batteries. They have a 21 dB NRR (noise reduction rating) and come in a Tactical Brown cup color. They are held in place with a headband that provides a better fit and thus more reliable attenuation.
